Maia can absorb electricity. Sam can release electrical discharges. When they both reunite with Denzel, the boy who gave them these powers when they were still children, they have a surprise: Denzel hasn't aged.

The boy reveals that he chose them to together regain humanity's freedom, the only immortal race in the universe, but that has been exiled on planet Earth for millennia. For this, they will count on Levi, a pseudo-hero created by the media, and Allan, an eccentric alien with the power to teleport.
